Our innovative HQ1500 ZnX is an ultra high-strength steel developed to meet the needs of the automotive industry. HQ1500 ZnX combines 1500MPa strength levels obtained via the direct hot forming process with good cathodic corrosion protection.
Thanks to its excellent formability, this new hot forming product is ideal for complex auto body structural parts and for achieving added shape accuracy. HQ1500 ZnX is best suited for crash safety parts, including A and B pillars, firewall, tunnel and other parts in the vehicle wet area. |
