Oil-and-Gas Pipeline Steel

This series of products are micro-alloyed steel. With a moderate content of alloying elements Nb, and after the rare earth treatment, the steel is with high-intensity, good low-temperature flexibility and high impact value. The de-S pre-treatment of hot metal makes the steel clean with the grain size > Level 10. The anisotropy of mechanical properties is small. The integrated mechanical properties meet the requirements of international standards API5L at all levels. The steel has a stable forming and good welding properties. Compared with the similar imported steel, it has a better cold-, heat- and crack-resistance; as well as a smaller fatigue crack growth rate and stress corrosion proneness. The single-coil is heavy and adapt to mechanized continuous production on large-scale with a high material utilization rate.

Applications
Mainly for manufacturing oil-and-gas pipelines and other fluid pipes with similar requirements by spiral SAW & straight ERW.
