Sandvik 23.11.LNb
Sandvik 23.11.LNb is a strip electrode particularly suitable for high speed electroslag welding (ESW) with flux Sandvik 49S, or submergedarc welding (SAW) with flux Sandvik 10SW. It gives a 347/E347 chemical composition when used in single layer technique.
Sandvik 23.11.LNb can also be combined with Sandvik 19.9.LNb for the second layer to obtain a 347/E347 weld deposit.
Applications
Sandvik 23.11.LNb is used for corrosion resistant weld surfacing of components in the chemical, petrochemical, nuclear industry. Typical components are pressure vessels, heat exchangers, shafts, industrial piping. The grade is also commonly used in petrochemical applications.
Sandvik 23.11.LNb is often used as transition layer on which a second layer is welded, using 19.9.LNb for better corrosion resistance.
Sandvik 23.11.LNb can also be combined with Sandvik 19.9.LNb for the second layer to obtain a 347/E347 weld deposit.
