Prelaq Clean is suitable for external building products, such as profiled sheet for roofing and wall cladding, prefabricated wall panels, wall and roof fittings, and sheet steel roofing tiles. In addition to being suitable for normal environments, Prelaq can also be used in industrial and marine environments.

Prepainted steel used for cladding of buildings can sometimes show dirt pickup. Prelaq Clean has a self-cleaning property which makes the product suitable for buildings where aesthetic considerations are important. The self cleaning property is achieved by a special additive in the paint which together with the rinsing effect from rain, gives a clean surface.
Prelaq Clean has a coating with a total thickness of 40 µm. The thickness of the paint is optimized for wear resistance, weathering resistance and consumption of resources. It has greater durability than standard polyester when exposed to people walking on the roof and other stresses occurring on roofs. The coating has excellent gloss retention and colour fastness, and also provides good protection against corrosion.
The reverse side of the sheet is painted as standard with grey epoxy-type paint, and the reverse side is marked with particulars of product name and production date.
