CarTech Hiperco 15 Alloy is a soft magnetic material (patent pending) which combines the advantages of high saturation magnetization (compared to Silicon-Iron, pure Iron), high electrical resistivity (compared to CarTech Hiperco 27 Alloy, pure Iron), and lower Cobalt content (compared to CarTech Hiperco 50 Alloy and CarTech Hiperco 27 Alloy).

Applications:
CarTech Hiperco 15 Alloy can be considered for new and higher-performance applications where cost considerations have restricted the use of CarTech Hiperco 50 Alloy and CarTech Hiperco 27 Alloy. The combination of relatively higher saturation induction and high electrical resistivity makes the alloy a candidate for the following applications: actuators, relays, fuel injectors, switched reluctance motors, magnetic bearings, flywheels, sensors, high-performance electromagnets and linear motors. For solenoid applications, it is a particularly important candidate material for those that have to be turned on and off with greater force.
