Harris 6HP is a medium range silver brazing filler metals designed for copper to copper applications, or copper to brass, using Stay Silv White brazing flux. The higher phosphorus creates a low temperature highly fluid alloy well suited for manual applications as well as those using brazing rings or automated wire feed. Stay Silv 6HP is not recommended for brazing steel or other ferrous base metals. The phosphorus content promotes formation of a low ductility intermetallic with the ferrous base metal.

CORROSION RESISTANCE
Generally similar to the copper base metal, but phosphorus containing alloys, including Stay Silv 6HP, should not be used if the braze is exposed to sulfur or sulfur compounds in service.

Standard wire diameters, and preform rings.

RECOMMENDED FLUX:
No flux is required for copper brazing. For brazing brass or copper to brass, use Stay-Silv ® white flux.
