CarTech® CTS® BD4P Alloy

CarTech CTS BD4P alloy is a powder metal processed, air-hardening, high-carbon, chromium-steel that offers enhanced corrosion resistance and toughness, compared with CarTech 440C stainless, combined with excellent wear resistance and tempered hardness capability up to HRC 60. The alloy is a strong candidate for a variety of cutlery applications.

Applications:
CarTech CTS BD4P alloy is a high-performance blade steel. The fine, uniform carbide structure provided by the P/M processing yield excellent edge retention and grinding/polishing characteristics to consider for cutlery and other knife applications.
