According to the intensity level, the steel can be divided into A, B, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80, X100. According to the metallurgical structure, it can be divided into ferritic - pearlitic & hypopearlitic, acicular ferritic, low-carbon sorbiticpipeline steel. According to the function, it can be divided into hydrogen sulphide-proof pipeline steel, high-ductility pipeline steel, high-performance pipeline steel, spiral SAW pipeline steel (SSAW), straight electric resistance welding pipeline steel (ERW), longitudinally-SAW pipeline steel (LSAW), alpine zone pipeline steel, acidic medium pipeline steel, undersea, gas and oil pipeline steel. The specific technical requirements are different according to different uses.
Applications
Mainly for manufacturing spiral submerged arc welding pipes (SSAW), straight electric resistance welding pipe (ERW), longitudinally-SAW pipes (LSAW) and oil-gas-water transmission pipes. It can also be applied to manufacturing pressurized fluid transmission pipes for power stations, chemical plants and coal mines. Furthermore, it is used in manufacturing engineering structural pieces. A technology agreement need be signed according to the specific pipeline projects, service conditions and the way of pipe making.
