Nikrothal® TE

Generic Family: Nickel - Wrought - Ni-Cr AlloySupplied by: Sandvik Materials Technology
Nikrothal TE is an austenitic nickel-chromium (NiCr) for use at temperatures up to 1200°C (2190°F). The alloy is developed for use in metal sheathed tubular elements.

The alloy combines low nickel content and low temperature factor of resisitivity. It is a highly attractive alternative to alloys with higher nickel content, such as Nikrothal 80. In most tubular element applications it is possible to achieve at least the same indicated service life by performing a slight element redesign.
