Nifethal™ 36

Generic Family: Iron - Wrought - Fe-Ni AlloySupplied by: Sandvik Materials Technology
Nifethal 36 is an austenitic nickel-iron alloy (NiFe alloy) with very low thermal expansion factor up to 180°C (356°F). The alloy is characterized by good mechanical resistance, ductility and malleability combined with corrosion resistance. Nifethal 36 is magnetic over its normal range of use.

Nifethal 36 is a standard alloy for applications where a low thermal expansion is required, up to a maximum of 180°C (356°F), which should not be exceeded.

Typical applications for Nifethal 36 are in thermostats bars, wires for precision measureing instruments and ignition cables for the automotive industry.
