Universal 310Mo electrodes are used for the welding of the clad side of types 316, 316L, and 317 clad steels. This alloy is also used for welding other molybdenum bearing stainless steels to mild or carbon steel. Universal 310Mo is used extensively for overlaying digesters in the pulp and paper industry.
