Universal 80SB-2 and 80SB-2L
Universal 80S-B2 is a 1 1/4 chromium 1/2 molybdenum alloy designed for welding similar composition alloys used primarily in the process industries in steam piping systems and pressure vessels. Weld deposits require preheat and postheat treatments in order to exhibit optimum physical properties.
Universal 80SB-2L is the same as 80SB-2 with the exception of the carbon content which is restricted to less than .05%
