Materion AlBeCast® 920

Generic Family: Beryllium - Cast - AlloySupplied by: Materion Corporation
This alloy is Materion's equivalent of AMS 7918**. It has five components (Be, Al, Ag, Co and Ge). Ag and Co are added to increase the alloy's strength. Ge is added for improved castability. Alloy 920 has a higher specific modulus than 910 and also significantly higher strength. On the negative side, its ductility is lower and its cost is higher. The alloy is intended for applications requiring higher strength and modulus than 910.
