MARS® 270

MARS® 270 is a specific high hardness steel grade in comparison with traditional high hardness steels used for structure application.

With a specific chemical composition (higher carbon and alloy content) mechanical properties (HB, UTS) are improved in comparison with high hardness structure steels, in view to increase ballistic resistance penetration.
