Industeel P20 is a 300 HB pre-hardened tool steel for the plastic mold industry.
P20 is melted in an electric furnace and refined through a VOD process under a high vacuum.

It is a chromium, Manganese, Molybdenum grade offering the following properties:

Good polishability and photo-etching properties,

Good machinability,

High uniformity in chemical analysis, microstructure and hardness,

Low level of phosphorus and oxygen contents,

Perfect control of inclusion shape.
