CarTech CTS BD30P alloy is a powder metal processed, air-hardening, martensitic stainless steel that offers corrosion resistance comparable with CarTech 440C stainless combined with excellent toughness and wear resistance attributed to a high concentration of vanadium carbides.

Applications:
CarTech CTS BD30P alloy is a high-performance blade steel that forms numerous carbides with a fine distribution. A tempered hardness capability of HRC 58/60 combined with superior edge retention make this alloy is an excellent candidate for cutlery applications in multiple cutlery and knife market segments.
