CarTech® Manganin 130
When winding CarTech Manganin 130 resistors, strains are set up in the wire which must be relieved to obtain stability. It has been found necessary to artificially age resistors by baking at temperatures from 120 to 138°C (250 to 280°F) from 25 to 48 hours.
The maximum recommended operating temperature in air is 93°C (200°F).
Applications:
CarTech Manganin 130 has been used in precision built electrical components such as Wheatstone bridges, decade boxes, voltage drivers, potentiometers and resistance standards.
