Shipbuilding Steel
This series of products has a strict control on chemical composition of steel as per requirements of domestic and international shipbuilding standards CCS, GL, BV, DNV, LR, NK, KR, RINA or GB712. The use of controlled-rolling and controlled-cooling process as per carbon equivalent in hot-rolling leads to stable chemical composition and excellent mechanical properties.

The surface of steel plates is flat, the edge is even, and the diagonal bias is small. The precision of size is high, and the thickness difference of the same plate is small. The steel, with about 0.1% copper, has a good corrosion resistance. The steel also has a good welding performance with a low carbon equivalent.

Application
Mainly for manufacturing superstructures, sterns, helms and separated helms of ocean-going ships, and the hull and superstructure of inland ships.
