AMETEK manufactures strip developed specifically for use as an outer sheathing layer for powder-filled hard-facing weld wire. Customers can choose to purchase pancake coils OR continuous oscillated wound reels up to 880 lbs (400 kgs). AMETEK's oscillated wound product is a continuous length spool that contains NO FINISH GAUGE WELDS. Customers can realize a savings of up to 3 hours of down-time per reel vs. welding individual pancakes together.
