ExOne's 3D Printed Iron infiltrated with Bronze is a matrix material composed of 60% iron and 40% bronze infiltrant. This material offers good mechanical properties, is able to be machined, welded and polished, and offers excellent wear resistance.

Applications
Iron is the most widely used material for industrial applications. This material system is ideally suited for automotive components, machine tools, industrial components, tooling, and decorative hardware.

Iron: Low base carbon
Bronze: 90% Cu / 10% Sn

Conventionally machinable

Weldability
Use silicone bronze rod & TIG weld
