Sanicro 41Cu welding strip is suitable for overlay welding when a deposit with chemistry corresponding to UNS N08825 is required. Used in electroslag welding (ESW) together with the nonalloying flux Sandvik 57S, the UNS N08825 deposit chemistry can be obtained in single layer welding. The weld deposit is a nickelironchromium molybdenumcopper alloy suitable for use in extremely corrosive environments.

Sanicro 41Cu has very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride containing environments and is particularly suited for use in reducing environments such as those containing sulphuric and phosphoric acids.
