HARRIS® 40/60 ACID CORE

Generic Family: Lead - Wrought - AlloySupplied by: THE HARRIS PRODUCTS GROUP
This tin-lead solder contains a 3% acid core. Tin-lead solders are not recommended in high stress or vibration joints in the cooling industry due to lack of sufficient elongation properties. Heat sources include soldering guns, irons, and torch applications. *Lead bearing solders are not to be used in potable water systems. Acid core solders are not recommended for electrical or electronics application.

RECOMMENDED FLUX:
Separate flux is generally not used with acid core solders. The acid core provides the flux, although stay clean flux may be used in addition to insure cleanness of the base metal.
