Product Description
Sandvik 9RU10 is a precipitation hardening steel of type 17Cr/7Ni PH. Compared with the other Sandvik spring wire grades Sandvik 9RU10 has:
  • The highest relaxation resistance at elevated temperatures
  • The highest fatigue strength

Springs coiled from Sandvik 9RU10 wire virtually retain their original form after tempering - for example, as loops and hooks, whereas springs made from conventional 18/8 steels generally suffer deformation, which has to be allowed for when coiling.

Service temperature: -200 to 350°C (-330 to 660°F)
