Deloro™ 15 Alloy

Generic Family: Nickel - Powder Metal - AlloySupplied by: Kennametal Stellite
Deloro™ 15 is a pre-alloyed gas atomized nickel-based powder which is used primarily for the local repair of cast iron glass forming molds. It has excellent weld characteristics and is a good color match.

Deloro™ 15 is typically deposited as a machinable, non-magnetic powder weld or spray-fuse (SF) deposited overlay. The fusing temperature is 1005 - 1050°C (1840 - 1920°F).

Like the other Deloro™ nickel-based alloys, its wear resistance is mainly due to the presence of hard boride and silicide phases, and it retains its properties up to about 315°C (600°F). Because of its low melting point it is easily fused to form a smooth hard-wearing surface.
